Key Accountabilities

  • Opportunity to get a broad understanding of Asset Management governance, systems of controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Opportunity to learn the application of risk analysis in a business setting.
  • Good opportunity for an intern considering audit, compliance or risk management as a career.

Operational Risk

  • Support in the independent risk management oversight activities of Eastspring across multiple businesses across Asia e.g. coordination and analysis of Operational Incidents and reports, senior management reporting, deep dive analysis, model and user defined application reviews etc.
  • Enhancement / development of risk related material for engagement with stakeholders.
  • Supporting maintenance of Risk Systems and Data.

Compliance

  • Support in compliance monitoring activities to assess Eastspring’s compliance with regulatory requirements.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Undergraduate currently studying Risk Management, Business, Finance and/or related subjects
  • Basic understanding of financial and investment products
  • Detail oriented with a highly analytical approach, a self-starter who has the ability to use their own initiative
  • Highly motivated and able to manage multiple projects within strict deadlines
  • Being comfortable with numbers and a high level of competency in Excel VBA and Macros
