Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Purchasing Assistant to join our team in either Benaulim or Canacona, Goa. This full-time role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in purchasing or a related field. The ideal candidate will assist in managing purchasing activities, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services while supporting the overarching goals of Camilsons Group.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Proficient in statistical analysis to interpret data and support purchasing decisions (Mandatory skill).
  • Demonstrated experience in purchasing, including sourcing and acquiring products or services (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive prices (Mandatory skill).
  • Competence in data visualization tools and techniques to effectively present procurement data and analytics.
  • Experience in inventory management to track and manage stock levels effectively, ensuring minimal wastage.
  • Understanding of service contracts for the acquisition of services and ensuring adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with different internal teams and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and evaluate purchasing trends and supplier performance for continuous improvement.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Assist in the selection and evaluation of new products, materials, or suppliers to align with business needs and objectives.
  • Coordinate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and plan purchasing activities accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, delivery details, and inventories to ensure seamless procurement operations.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, pricing, or quality to maintain a positive supply chain.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for products and services following company policies and procedures.
  • Support the negotiation of terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing in alignment with company standards.
  • Analyze purchasing trends and suggest improvements to optimize and streamline purchasing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with the companys policies and guidelines to uphold ethical procurement and business practices.
