ABM works in a highly regulated environment with a host of regulators like SEBI, RBI, AMFI, FMC, IRDA etc. regulating its day to day operations. In addition to the regulator ABM is also subject to close monitoring and inspection through various agencies like NSE / BSE / NCDX / MCX/ NSDL / CDSL etc.
ABM also operates in a highly competitive market mainly in fragmented industry with ABML competition from major National Broking houses like Kotak securities, Zerodha, Edelweiss, MOFSL etc. and a range of local Broking outfits.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Equity Advisor to join our team at Aditya Birla Capital in Bangalore. This mid-level, full-time position requires a professional with strong expertise in financial analysis and investment strategies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to analyze market trends, manage client portfolios, and contribute effectively to asset allocation decisions, providing exceptional advisory services to our valued clients.
Qualification And Skills
- The mandatory education is Graduation (10+2+3)
- 2 Year of experience in dealing/execution and acquisition of large Trader clients in the broking industry.
- Strong understanding of equity markets, basic understanding of options and derivatives.
- Meticulousness, pro-activeness, ability to work under pressure and superior communication skills.
- Comfort with OMNESYS, ODIN, NEAT, BOLT is highly preferable.
- Currently managing pipeline of Interested Clients.
- NISM 8 certification: Equity Derivatives mandatory.
- Strong skills in investment research to gather and evaluate economic data, financial statements, and industry trends.
- Experience in portfolio management with a track record of optimizing investment strategies for varied client profiles.
- Ability to perform risk assessment to guide clients in making informed financial decisions.
- Exceptional client relationship management skills to foster trust and maintain long-term client engagements.
- Experience in equity valuation techniques to appraise stocks and support buy-sell-hold recommendations.
- Knowledge of asset allocation principles to maximize portfolio returns while managing risk exposure.
Job Responsibilities
- Acquire large trader clients, trade ( buy, hold or sell) various equity, currency and commodity products on stock exchanges.
- Execution of transactions in Equities (Cash and Derivatives) Currency & Commodities.
- Ensuring efficient and prompt management of orders based on customer request.
- Generating leads Selling/ advising third party products like Health Insurance, SIPs, Life Insurance, Mutual funds.
- Day to day coordination with RMS, Activation Team, Surveillance and various other departments for smooth functioning of branch.
- Day to day approvals w.r.t to limits, commercials.
- Managing quick and accurate order executions in volatile market conditions.
- Motivating customers to transact and activating inactive clients.
- Changing the mindset of the Offline trader clients to adopt ONLINE platforms and then start transacting seamlessly.
- Activate new clients for broking relationships and ensure seamless servicing
- Cross Sell of ABC Products like Health Insurance, SIPs, Life Insurance, Mutual funds.
- Ensure adherence to surveillance and risk processes.
