Job Accountabilities
Person will be overall in charge / accountable for the shift operations for ETP, STP, RO & MEE
He is accountable to monitor and maintain each individual operation in the plant throughout his shift as per the SOP
He needs to maintain all the data logs as specified throughout his shift guide the plant operator and helper
Ensure all the required parameters to be checked/tested and reported
Person should be able to identify the abnormality / abnormal signs prior to whole system got disturbed and troubleshoot it and communicate well, as some of the operations are very critical, and that will take huge recovery time once it got disturbed
To perform the treatability studies to improve the plant performance
To maintain the minimum stock of chemicals and consumables required in plant operations
Proper HOTO of the shift
Ensure safety for individual and related team/environment while carry out any routine/non-routine operations, maintenance or any other activities
Shift in-charge is accountable for identify and immediate report of any equipment / instruments malfunctioning operation or any abnormal sign/sound observations
Ensure no any leakages of any utilities or wastage of chemicals, if observed – it should be attended on priority
He needs to prepare specified reports and highlight the observations
To ensure equipment used in monitoring are calibrated on time and records are maintained.
Coordinate with the concern departments / stack holders to satisfy the internal or external customers
Skills Required (Knowledge And Skills)
Thorough ETP Operations
Thorough knowledge of Aeration biological treatment
Thorough STP Operations
Thorough MBR technology / Operations
Thorough UF-RO & Softener operations
MEE (ZLD) plant operations
Basic knowledge of Lab equipment and testing related to ETP-STP operations
Knowledge of chemicals / its handling used in ETP/STP operations (MSDS)
Knowledge of GPCB/CPCB requirements/norms
Awareness for use of PPEs and safe practices
Basic knowledge of maintenance related to ETP-STP
Data analysis interpretation ability
Basic computer knowledge (i.e. MS Office)
Key Attributes (Experience And Qualifications)
Experience of handling shift operations of ETP and STP individually as a shift in charge/supervisor
B.Sc. / M.Sc. or equivalent with experienced in ETP STP as individually handled shift operations minimum 4 – 5 years
Diplomas in chemical engineering or equivalent – experienced in ETP STP as individually handled shift operations minimum 4 – 5 years
