Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team at Basik Innovation LLP. As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services required for our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will have experience in vendor management, negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of the procurement process.
Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related role
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiation techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed purchasing decisions
- Proficient in using MS Office applications
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of the housewares or consumer products industry is preferred
Roles And Responsibilities
- Identify and source reliable suppliers and vendors for required materials, products, and services
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely delivery
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the production team to ensure materials availability
- Create and maintain purchase orders, records, and documentation
- Coordinate with various internal departments to identify procurement needs and specifications
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal requirements
- Monitor market trends and developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry innovations and pricing
