Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Oversee the organization’s Information Technology infrastructure, operations, and information security. Crucial in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of Information Technology systems. Manage the Information Technology team, and develop and implement policies, while maintaining compliance with industry standards. Safeguard the organization’s digital assets, playing a pivotal role in mitigating risk and enhancing the overall technology landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the Information Technology user experience and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement Information Technology policies, procedures, and standards.
- Lead all regulatory and audit efforts.
- Manage Information Technology budgets and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address Information Technology needs and requirements across departments.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Information Technology staff.
- Communicate Information Technology strategy, initiatives, and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in financial services with an emphasis on technology and process improvement.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
- CISSP or CISM designation preferred.
- Knowledge of risk management approaches and Information Technology governance frameworks.
- Microsoft Office proficient, advanced in Excel.
