Job Title : Sales Manager

Experience: 2-4 years of sales experience

Key Responsibilities

Team Management:

  • Lead and manage the sales team effectively, ensuring performance alignment with company goals.
  • Provide coaching, training, and motivation to enhance team productivity.

Distributor & Retail Management

  • Develop and manage incentive schemes for distributors and retailers to boost sales.
  • Establish and monitor attractive offers and deals for end-users to drive product demand.

Intermediary Management

  • Oversee margins, pricing, and offers for intermediaries to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with intermediaries to optimize sales processes and ensure timely delivery.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Create and execute a robust sales plan tailored to the Ahmedabad market.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to close deals and foster long-term relationships.

Retail Network Management

  • Leverage an existing network of retail stakeholders in the Ahmedabad region to expand market presence.
  • Ensure proper merchandising and manage Point of Sale (POS) materials to maximize visibility.

Incentive Management

  • Design and implement effective incentive structures for sales representatives.
  • Monitor performance metrics and align incentives with business objectives.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities to inspire the team and drive organizational success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales initiatives with marketing and product strategies.

Key Requirements

  • Languages: Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the FMCG / Cosmetics / Personal Care industry.

Skills

  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of merchandising and end-user offer creation.

Knowledge

  • Expertise in managing intermediary margins and incentive schemes.
  • Well-connected within the retail network of Ahmedabad region.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • MBA with Marketing
