Teaching Assistant
Job Description
This full-time Teaching Assistant role is based in a primary school in the Uxbridge area, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4pm
The position involves supporting special needs children with their development, requiring excellent communication and active listening skills
While previous experience in a school setting is not necessary, recent experience working with children is preferred
Responsibilities include working with SEN pupils in 1:1 or small group settings, adapting learning approaches to meet individual needs, and contributing to a safe and stimulating learning environment
Candidates should be patient, calm under pressure, and flexible
The ideal candidate should live in Kingston or within a commutable distance
