The Senior Associate Business Analyst is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for working with internal and external clients to determine requirements and to define solutions to address business, process and systems problems, and improvements in the organization.
Working under supervision when needed, this role acts as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies, and operations of an organization, and to recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing
- Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical requirements for the SAP system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement SAP solutions that support business processes.
- Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure that the project meets business needs and technical requirements.
- Analyze data and create reports using SAP tools to provide insights to business leaders.
- Ensure data integrity, security and compliance of the SAP system.
- Assist in system upgrades, installations and maintenance.
- Attend meetings and provide updates to project managers and stakeholders regarding SAP projects and initiatives.
- Business Users and vendor management
- Provide level one support for user assistance and data extraction
- Familiarity with business process and ensure compliance and company policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working with SAP software, preferably as a business analyst or in a related role
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills are a must
- Substantial experience and competency in analyzing business needs, designing and implementing SAP solutions, and training end-users
- Additional certifications such as the SAP Certified Application Associate can also be advantageous
- Working knowledge in the SAP Materials Management (MM) module
