Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and licensed Customer Service Team Member to join our thriving insurance agency. This role combines customer service with sales responsibilities, requiring a strong commitment to client satisfaction while achieving sales goals. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to effectively promote and sell insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Provide accurate and detailed information regarding insurance products, services, and claims processes.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Sales Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed established sales goals by identifying client needs and recommending appropriate insurance solutions.
- Actively promote and cross-sell insurance products to both new and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Policy Management:
- Assist clients with policy inquiries, including coverage details, policy changes, and renewals.
- Support clients in understanding their insurance options and help them make informed decisions.
- Claims Support:
- Guide clients through the claims process, ensuring they understand the necessary steps.
- Collect required documentation and information for claims submissions and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and transactions in the agency’s database.
- Prepare and send out policy documents, renewal notices, and other correspondence.
- Assist in onboarding new clients and ensure a smooth transition into our services.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide comprehensive customer service.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Gather client feedback to identify areas for improvement in service delivery and sales strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes affecting insurance services.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid insurance license in the relevant state(s).
- Previous experience in customer service and sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
- A goal-oriented mindset with a desire to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when necessary.
