Who We Are: HoldinTN LLC is a growing hospitality group in Middle Tennessee that will open and operate a Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream location in Franklin in 2024. A Downtown Nashville location will open in 2025 with plans for at least 3 additional locations soon after. Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream begin in Ohio in Handel’s Ice Cream is seeking a passionate and creative Ice Cream Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for ice cream, a keen sense of flavor, and the ability to create high-quality, delicious ice cream products that delight our customers. This position involves both the production and quality control of our signature ice cream flavors and requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and a commitment to maintaining our brand’s reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities: Ice Cream Production: Prepare and produce a variety of ice cream flavors using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Operate ice cream machines and equipment safely and efficiently. Follow standardized recipes and adjust ingredients as needed to maintain flavor consistency. Quality Control: Conduct taste tests and ensure all products meet Handel’s quality standards. Monitor the production process to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area. Inventory Management: Track inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assist in ordering and restocking as needed. Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products. Qualifications: Previous experience in food production or a culinary background preferred. Knowledge of ice cream production processes and techniques is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds. Comfort working in a cold environment.
