Job Overview

Health Care Support Worker within ABUHB at the Royal Gwent Hospital working within the Medicine or Urgent Care Division.

An exciting opportunity has become available within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board as a Health Care Support Worker. To join our caring and professional nursing team delivering general medical, rehabilitation & palliative care to our patients.

NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care gained in a Health & Social Care Setting or experience for 6 months within a domiciliary setting.

Please note that this role will require you to be fully flexible so that you are able to cover rotational shifts that includes days, nights and weekends.

Please also note that we will not be providing sponsorship for this role.

Main duties of the job

We are a friendly team and welcome applications from Health Care Support Worker’s who possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and who are committed to providing high standards of care for patients, their families and carers within a hospital setting. Ideally the candidate will have excellent computer skills and be enthusiastic about change management and supportive towards their colleagues.
