Job Description

Job Summary: Effectively manages all components of events including FOH and BOH to ensure that maximum potential revenue and financial objectives as well as optimum standards of guest service are achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Is responsible for building the event team and event sales, and is accountable for profit and loss.
  • Performs all administrative functions.
  • Is capable of performing every function of events so as to properly supervise all of those functions.
  • Makes sales to create revenue for events.
  • Effectively communicates with everyone, from you, to other employees, to guests, vendors, and home office representatives.
  • Ensures adherence to policies and procedures, setting the standard for excellence for all events.
  • Responsible for hiring and scheduling of entire event staff.
  • Responsible for employee morale.
  • Responsible for disciplinary action on event team members.
  • Oversees training of all event staff.
  • Conducts orientation on all new team members.
  • Responsible for marketing/expanding the brand.
  • Performs banking.
  • Monitors inventory and places inventory orders.
  • Monitors quality of food and maintains high standards of guest service.
  • Delivers quality guest service and monitors the level of service throughout events.
  • Ensures all health and sanitation standards are being met and that all health inspections are passed.
  • Adheres to company standards including personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Follows up with event guests to gauge their experience.

Qualifications

  • Managerial experience in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system.
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
