Job Description
This individual will articulate and align the strategic vision for specific products to achieve business objectives and key performance indicators. Define the product vision, prioritize and manage the backlog, and ensure the development team delivers high-quality features that meet customer needs. Acting as a bridge between stakeholders and the development team, the Product Owner will facilitate collaboration, gather requirements, and make informed decisions to drive the product’s success.
Position Location:
This role could be hybrid (Lincoln, NE) or remote based on proximity to an office location.
What you do:
- Possess a deep understanding of the products to provide guidance to resolve escalated issues, ensuring smooth product development and identify quick solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and digital product innovations to inform product strategy.
- Recommend innovative programs and processes to achieve results. Translate the product vision into an actionable product roadmap, ensure alignment with business goals, and keep stakeholders informed about roadmap progress, changes, and updates.
- Create and maintain the product backlog, prioritize user stories based on stakeholder needs, and act as the subject matter expert to ensure clear communication of requirements and user needs.
- Stay abreast of development and innovations in digital products.
- Articulate and translate the product vision into user stories and tactics for products.
- Manage scope, define the minimum viable product, and identify potential risks to proactively address during development.
- Partner with business leaders, development teams, and key project stakeholders to gather requirements, align on objectives and timelines, optimize resource allocation, and ensure seamless sprint execution and budget management.
- Monitor product performance using analytical tools, assess user feedback, and continuously iterate to refine features and optimize the user experience.
- Assist with mentoring Scrum team members, including developers, UX designers, and QA specialists.
- Coordinate sprint deployments, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and product delivery in collaboration with the Scrum team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Analyze the ROI of product features, gather stakeholder feedback, and ensure adherence to regulations and policies while aligning with business objectives.
What you bring:

- 3-5 years of related experience required.
