Outpatient Counselor – Behavioral Health – Remote | Flexible Schedule – LCSW/A or LCAS/A

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Outpatient Counselor who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Provide essential clinical services, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions, along with community support.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely client documentation, including treatment planning, assessments, and service notes.
• Facilitate necessary documentation for funding and billing processes, including Medicaid, MCO funding, and third-party billing.
• Identify and connect clients with appropriate resources and support.
• Engage in team meetings and supervision while participating in occasional crisis phone rotations (1-2 times annually).
• Deliver SAIOP services on an as-needed basis.

Required Skills

• Experience working with individuals or groups who have mental health or substance use disorders.
• Proficiency in dual diagnosis treatment, DSM-V models, and familiarity with the 12 Core Functions.
• Competence with electronic medical records is essential.
• Spanish language skills are an advantage, although not mandatory.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a Human Services field is required.
• Candidates must be fully or provisionally licensed for clinical practice (e.g., LCSW, LCAS, LMFT, LPC), with a preference for fully licensed LCSWs.
