Job Overview

The UTR Flex League Manager (FLM) role is a remote, regionally-oriented position dedicated to overseeing and nurturing the UTR Flex League market within a specific area. This position is crucial for establishing robust connections within the local tennis community, facilitating the growth and effectiveness of the UTR Flex League ecosystem.

As a FLM, your primary focus will be on engaging tennis players across various age groups and skill levels, motivating them to actively participate in the community. Key tasks include networking with players, onboarding new participants, developing and managing league opportunities, and ensuring consistent communication. During the pre-launch phase, your priority will be to raise awareness of the Flex League’s value in your market. Following the launch, your efforts will pivot towards continual recruitment and retention of players, while acting as the main point of contact for all participants in your region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee, recruit, and engage the local tennis community through UTR Flex Leagues and relevant technological platforms.
  • Cultivate strong, enduring relationships by leveraging your existing tennis network and executing innovative marketing campaigns through various outreach methods, including phone, text, email, social media, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Assess league performance and player engagement, generating monthly analytical reports to align with the strategic goals and growth targets of the UTR Flex League.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to implement a strategic plan that promotes player registration and active participation in leagues within your designated market.

  • A strong passion for tennis, complemented by experience as an active player or coach, and a commitment to expanding the sport for all levels.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to take ownership of projects from conceptualization through execution.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
