Key Responsibilities
- Conduct customer demonstrations, perform sample analyses, and produce professional reports that address intricate challenges.
- Deliver technical product presentations through individualized consultations, seminars, and industry events.
- Provide comprehensive training and application support to facilitate the successful implementation of our technologies.
- Share insightful feedback with product teams regarding emerging trends, applications, and competitive landscapes.
- Create application notes that respond to market demands and disseminate best practices.
- Travel up to 50% of the time to assist clients across the Northeastern United States.
Required Skills
- Profound knowledge in UV/Vis/NIR and Fluorescence technologies.
- Exceptional technical communication capabilities, both written and verbal.
- In-depth understanding of optical measurements for various materials.
- Familiarity with polarized optical measurements and relevant optical techniques, including filters, lenses, mirrors, and coatings.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree complemented by over 5 years of post-academic experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of practical experience with advanced optical spectroscopic characterization techniques within the UV-Vis-NIR spectral ranges.
- Expertise with instruments such as Shimadzu, Agilent Cary, or PerkinElmer Lambda series.
- A valid driver’s license with an impeccable driving record.
- Reside within commuting distance of Shelton, CT, for occasional in-person meetings.
