Job Overview

We are actively seeking a seasoned and innovative VP of Growth to spearhead the strategic expansion of our brand. This key executive role will focus on leveraging our direct-to-consumer market and digital marketing strategies to accelerate growth. The VP of Growth will report directly to the CEO and will collaborate closely with various departments, including retail sales, marketing, creative, operations, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement comprehensive growth strategies centered on eCommerce and direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Utilize customer loyalty insights and organic growth data to refine the brand’s strategic direction.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of eCommerce and digital marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with return on investment (ROI) objectives.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in the eCommerce sector to maintain a competitive advantage, employing a test-and-learn methodology.
  • Identify and explore new market opportunities, leveraging data and consumer behavior insights for informed strategy development.
  • Lead the creation and execution of marketing and sales strategies across digital platforms.
  • Drive retention efforts to maximize customer lifetime value and boost repeat business.
  • Manage the campaign calendar in alignment with product launches to ensure sustained revenue growth.
  • Oversee financial management, including revenue projections and media expenditures.
  • Enhance website performance in collaboration with UX, Creative, and Marketing teams, focusing on customer experience.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation across direct-to-consumer channels.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a talented team, promoting a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Partner with executives to execute a holistic growth strategy that maximizes the brand’s omnichannel presence.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with external vendors and agencies.
  • Provide oversight and management of complex areas within the business for streamlined operations.

Required Skills

  • Over 15 years of experience in the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sectors, with extensive background in direct-to-consumer channels.
  • More than 10 years of leadership experience managing both direct and indirect teams, particularly in technology, performance marketing, and data/analytics.
  • Proven success in driving business growth and expanding market presence, especially within direct-to-consumer frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • A people-oriented leader adept in identifying and nurturing top talent and building high-performing teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, marketing automation, and data analytics tools.
  • An MBA or an equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable.
