Job Summary:
As part of the Founder’s Office – Investor Relations at Deccan AI, you’ll work closely with the founder and leadership team. You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects across the board, with a current emphasis on fundraising and investor relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fundraising: Assist in and lead various aspects of fundraising at Deccan AI. This involves collaborating with founders, the finance team, investors, and external partners on tasks such as pitch development, investment research, financial analysis and modeling, due diligence, outreach, and related activities.
- Investor Relations: Maintain relationships with existing investors by keeping them informed about company developments, financial performance, and key milestones. Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries and requests.
- Strategy and Analytics: Conduct business analysis to formulate actionable plans and ensure their implementation. Depending on the situation, you may work independently, lead a team, or manage projects to drive strategic initiatives.
- Other Duties: Undertake additional tasks as required, embodying the versatile spirit of a founder’s office role.
Must Have:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Mergers & Acquisitions, Consulting, or Corporate Development.
- Strong understanding of fundraising processes, investment procedures, and preparation of related materials.
- Proficiency in analyzing financial statements.
- Experience in investment research, financial modeling, and creating pitch decks.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience collaborating with senior leadership teams or members.
- Experience working with or within startups is preferred but not mandatory.
