The Role
This is an entry level opportunity for a graduate with a degree within the fashion industry.
Responsibilities
- Write appealing, on brand, SEO friendly product descriptions and names, maintaining accuracy
- Sample management, tracking, collate and report on what has gone to shoot, what has been shot & what needs a shoot
- Responsible for making all products live across 8 websites
- Ensure product photography is accurate & upload images
- Flag up to the photography team products which need detail shots
- Chase up any missing images
- Ensure all products are in the correct categories so they display on site correctly
- Check the site daily, highlighting any problems to Retouch & Merchandising
- Maintain the new in category
- Attend product meetings & ensure all key USPS are noted for descriptions
- Assist on category copy
- Request samples from the buyers/design team to photograph during quieter periods
- Dropbox ownership, management and organisation – Liaising with photographer to send out links for images and ensuring they are back in time
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for working in the fashion industry
- Show initiative and drive
- Highly organised with the ability juggle several tasks and work to tight deadlines
- High standard of English language – both verbal and written commnunication
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident interpersonal skills and able to commutate appropriately with co-workers and senior management
- Work well under pressure
