Principal Duties

  • Effectively deliver professional development training to groups and individuals in an engaging, informative manner.
  • Facilitate training in various formats, including workshops, webinars, and small groups sessions.
  • Deliver interactive and engaging learning experiences to encourage participation and skill development.
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs.
  • Participate in train-the-trainer sessions with working group members, leaders, and others in the organization to adapt our new and existing training programs.
  • Support new hire orientation programs and onboarding activities for new employees.
  • Plan, develop and implement comprehensive professional development and training plans/programs.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, while inspiring engagement and participation.
  • Assess the effectiveness of our programs’ leadership behaviors and skills training.
  • Provide direction for program additions and revisions to ensure “best in practice” training and professional development.
  • Develop training manuals, visual aids and other program material to support learning and development initiatives.
  • Build strong consulting and working relationships with stakeholders to set and manage expectations, create project plans, and regularly communicate project update and status.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Experience

  • BA/BS degree preferred. Focus on education, communication, or instructional design is a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs with an emphasis on PowerPoint, ArticulateRISE, and Camtasia.
  • 3+ years in a training role, leadership training strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of learning format options and tradeoffs.
  • Ability to deliver in a climate of ambiguity and with changing tools and technical limitations.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors or other HRIS.
