This position will be responsible for developing and supporting initiatives that aggressively drive incremental sales for all ACG BBQ restaurants (a franchisee of Sonny’s Franchise Company) through developing and supporting alternative revenue streams.
Essential Duties
- Build sales by developing, instituting, and supporting specific initiatives.
- Lead all tech, equipment, and programs associated with Catering & Group Sales.
- Review data/results related to each market, analyze, then report regularly to the Operations team with strategic guidance.
- Assist in developing and revising target goals, policies, systems, and procedures.
- Develop new avenues of sales growth for off-premise operations and non-traditional concepts for operations.
- Support training team with the creation of materials and operations tools for off premise sales building.
- Responsible for training Local Store Marketing managers and restaurant managers in building long-term catering and group sales relationships.
Required Skills And Experience
- Proven successful outside sales experience in a restaurant environment, ideally having experience building a catering sales program at another multi-unit, chain restaurant company.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a degree with transferable skills and experience, or a minimum of 7 years equivalent work experience with transferable skills.
- Proven successful operations experience in a restaurant, ideally in a multi-unit chain restaurant company.
- Experience in successfully leading a team of 5 or more salespeople.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and flexibility to meet multiple demands in concurrent timelines.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
