Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

As Senior Director, Technology Strategy, you will be a member of the bank’s Technology Strategy & Governance organization. This position will help shape the company’s long-term technology strategic vision. This role is involved in overseeing the strategic planning process, driving cross-functional initiatives, and providing guidance on complex technology decisions. Lastly, this position will lead a dynamic team, collaborate closely with senior executives, and leverage industry insights to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Technology Strategic Leadership & Direction – Define and communicate company’s long-term Technology vision, ensuring alignment with market trends and competitive dynamics. Partner with senior executives and business unit leaders to identify strategic priorities and opportunities for growth. Offer expert guidance and recommendations on high-impact technology decisions, partnerships, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Team Leadership – Oversee the development of the team. Provide guidance and direction to the team in developing comprehensive strategic plans and initiatives aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
  • Market Insights & Innovation – Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making and drive innovation. Conduct thorough market analysis and scenario planning to anticipate future opportunities and challenges, ensuring the company maintains a competitive edge in the marketplace.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of Business Strategy or Management Consulting experience.

OR

High School Diploma or GED and 16 years of Business Strategy or Management Consulting experience.

If hired in North Carolina, the base pay for this position is generally between $185,280 and $285,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
