POSITION SUMMARY: The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for plates, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dishwasher

· Sort and stack clean dishes

· Transfer clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas

· Wash pots, pans and trays by hand

· Remove trash and garbage to dumpster

· Set up or break down dishwashing area

· Clean and roll/unroll mats

· Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions

· Sweep/mop floors

· Clean restaurant and restrooms as directed

· Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry

Qualifications:

· Possess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and culture

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

Education and/or Experience:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Minimum of (0) years’ experience

Essential Physical Functions:

· Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of (20) hours a week.

· Ability to stand/walk for (7) hours per day.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to (45) lbs.

· Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry.

· Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.

· Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.

· Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, and seafood
