Inventory and Manufacturing Specialist

Department: Purchasing/ CMP Indirect

Reports to: Purchasing and Inventory Manager

General Purpose

Responsible for overseeing the ordering, storing, receiving, and distributing processes of Cork Medical manufacturing products and supplies. Main duties include controlling the flow of supplies and equipment, tracking, and analyzing inventory maintenance and developing protocols for loss mitigation.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

  • System Management
  • Ensure inventory accuracy for Inventory and Manufacturing within the ERP database
  • Accept all purchase orders (internal and external)
  • Enter inventory into ConnectWise and verifies physical staging.
  • Reconcile packing list with purchase orders, verifies quantities, updates management on shortages.
  • Manage Job Orders (Work in Process- WIP)
  • Finished Goods inventory receipts. (Work in Process- WIP)- receipt finished goods to inventory, reconcile part number, quantities, and work order,
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and inventory teams.
  • Manage Work In Process transfers and tracking (WIP and Sterilization)
  • Reconcile inventory transfer receipts, part number and quantities from manufacturing, transfer through quarantine, sterilization, and finished goods location
  • Maintain records of sterilization and finished goods locations
  • Maintain Par inventory levels. Notify purchasing assistant when raw material inventory is low.
  • Daily piece count reporting
  • Record and report manufacturing daily piece counts and rates.
  • Collect, record, and report weekly updates for LOG035.
  • Assistant Purchasing Assistant as needed.

Education and Experience

  • 2 year’s continuing education OR 3+ years with relevant experience
  • Experience with accurate data entry or precision task completion
  • Previous experience as an inventory specialist or a similar position
  • Strong organization and documentation skills

Working Conditions

Working conditions for this position include both an office environment and warehouse with standing/lifting & manufacturing and warehouse interaction.
