Position Overview
The Associate Project Manager on the Product Innovation team will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of innovative projects, ensuring cross-functional collaboration to drive business goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholders effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with product, engineering, marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Facilitate effective communication and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.
- Risk Management and Problem Solving
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to refine project deliverables and ensure alignment.
- Process Improvement and Innovation Support
- Continuously evaluate project workflows and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Foster a culture of innovation by identifying opportunities for new approaches and creative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or equivalent work experience.
- Limited experience in project coordination, internships, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of data-related technologies and methodologies including: data warehousing and storage solutions, Snowflake and AWS.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software including: Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with an openness to seeking guidance when needed.
