Position Overview

The Associate Project Manager on the Product Innovation team will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of innovative projects, ensuring cross-functional collaboration to drive business goals. This role requires strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholders effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with product, engineering, marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Facilitate effective communication and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to refine project deliverables and ensure alignment.
  • Process Improvement and Innovation Support
  • Continuously evaluate project workflows and implement process improvements for efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by identifying opportunities for new approaches and creative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or equivalent work experience.
  • Limited experience in project coordination, internships, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of data-related technologies and methodologies including: data warehousing and storage solutions, Snowflake and AWS.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software including: Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset with an openness to seeking guidance when needed.
