Job Title: Retail & Supply Coordinator – Remote | Work From Home

Job Overview

As the Retail & Supply Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our fleet of tour vessels is consistently well-stocked with essential supplies and merchandise. Reporting to the Operations Manager and the Food and Beverage Director, your contributions will significantly enhance the quality of guest excursions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement, reception, stocking, and distribution of vessel supplies, including cleaning materials, food and beverage inventory, and retail items.
  • Collaborate effectively with the purchasing office and the Food & Beverage team to ensure pricing and procurement of necessary products.
  • Balance, reconcile, and report daily retail receipts from each vessel.
  • Maintain accurate records of tour supplies usage and prepare periodic reports, culminating in a comprehensive end-of-season summary.
  • Oversee laundry management, ensuring all vessel linens and supplies are cleaned and maintained.
  • Develop efficient systems for the distribution of products to various vessels in the fleet.
  • Train Passenger Service crew members in proper supply usage and paperwork submission, monitoring their performance throughout the season.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of both on-site and remote storage areas.
  • Provide professional liaison support between crew members and local suppliers.
  • Coordinate with the Sales & Service Manager to address special charters and event needs.
  • Regularly report to the Operations Manager for problem-solving and expedient solutions.
  • Supervise a team of 8-10 supply and shuttle team members, creating operationally efficient shuttle schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the fleet vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues to management.
  • Step in as a relief shuttle driver when necessary.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in inventory management, including ordering and tracking supplies.
  • Proficiency in various computer applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Strong cash handling capabilities and ability to balance daily transactions.
  • Ability to work independently while integrating well within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to cultivate strong relationships with colleagues and vendors.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in inventory control is essential.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Familiarity with driving a 15-passenger van is necessary.
