Position Summary:
The Vice President of Strategic Alliances is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive strategy to build and leverage partnerships with business groups on health, regional coalitions, and other influential organizations. This position plays a critical role in establishing strategic alliances to foster thought leadership, increase brand recognition, and drive client acquisition through consultative and collaborative engagement with partner organizations.
The VP will represent AffirmedRx at national and regional conferences, deliver impactful presentations, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to create a strong pipeline of opportunities. This role requires a seasoned executive with a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, extensive experience in building strategic partnerships, and a proven ability to influence decision-makers.
What you will do:
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Establish and expand relationships with regional and national business groups on health, coalitions, and similar organizations.
- Develop partnership strategies to align with AffirmedRx’s mission and business objectives.
Thought Leadership and Representation:
- Serve as the public face of AffirmedRx at conferences, events, and speaking engagements, showcasing the organization’s innovative approach to pharmacy benefits.
- Deliver insightful presentations that influence stakeholders and elevate AffirmedRx’s industry presence.
Pipeline Creation and Management:
- Leverage partnerships to generate lead flow and “pull-through” opportunities with member companies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to move opportunities through the sales pipeline, from identification to close.
Relationship Building:
- Nurture long-term relationships with partners and their member organizations to drive mutual value and strengthen brand trust.
- Act as a consultative resource to partners, providing industry insights and expertise.
Operational Excellence:
- Maintain detailed records of partner interactions, opportunities, and outcomes in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of partnership activities and impact.
Collaboration Across Teams:
- Partner with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and client management, to ensure a seamless and unified approach to partnership-driven growth.
What you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, healthcare management, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in strategic partnership development, with a focus on employee benefits.
- Strong existing relationships with business groups on health or similar organizations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive measurable results.
- Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50%)
