Role Details

Position: Security Officer
Location: Cork, County Cork, Ireland
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Schedule: Shift-based covering weekdays, weekends, day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard lives and property
• Manage incidents and respond appropriately
• Conduct routine property patrols
• Monitor CCTV systems attentively
• Control access points effectively
• Provide courteous customer service
• Prepare detailed reports
• Coordinate with management teams

Requirements

• Possess QQI Level 4 Basic Guarding skills
• Hold a Private Security Authority License for Static roles
• Have at least six months of relevant industry experience
• Proficient in English communication, both oral and written at a B2 level or higher
• Valid work permit or visa if applicable
• Basic computer literacy

General Expectations

• Willingness and capability to work a shift-based roster
• Availability for shifts on weekdays and weekends
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to independently take initiative during work
