About the Role

The Reliability Technician role based in Tingalpa focuses on enhancing production efficiency and asset dependability by identifying and resolving performance challenges. The role involves driving corrective actions and continuous improvements, working closely with various teams to achieve lasting operational gains.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance specialized maintenance programs to maximize asset reliability and service life.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving safety, environmental standards, and reliability across the facility.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshoot issues, and eliminate defects to avoid recurrence.
- Support the implementation of predictive and condition-based maintenance approaches.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of zero harm.
- Provide practical technical support, guide trades teams, and collaborate across departments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a qualified Electrician or Mechanical Fitter, including at least 2 years in reliability or the Food/FMCG sector.
- Proficiency with structured problem-solving methodologies like 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and FMEA.
- Experience in maintaining and advancing specialized maintenance strategies.
- Expertise in supporting condition-based and predictive maintenance methods.
- Strong analytical abilities with advanced skills in Excel, Microsoft Office suite, and SAP software.
