Role Overview
Tata Consultancy Services is hiring a Python Software Developer with 5 to 10 years of experience. The position is available across Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and New Delhi.
Required Skills
- Advanced Python programming knowledge
- Practical experience with one or more Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Ability to build and support REST APIs and microservice-based systems
- Working knowledge of SQL databases, especially MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Git and Agile delivery practices
- Preferred exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong analytical thinking and debugging ability
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and support backend systems using Python
- Create secure and maintainable RESTful APIs
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions
- Improve application efficiency, scalability, and overall performance
- Take part in code reviews and assist with production support activities
