Role Overview

The Payroll Analyst will play a crucial role in assisting with the comprehensive monthly payroll processing for approximately 15,000 employees through an outsourced payroll service. This role requires proactive involvement within a professional payroll team to meet the needs of our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage processing of new hires and terminations.
  • Verify payroll outputs generated by the time and attendance systems.
  • Support in calculating and administering employee payments.
  • Handle and validate all manual payroll amendments.
  • Administer pension schemes including auto-enrolment procedures.
  • Conduct administration and reconciliation of various payroll-related schemes.
  • Calculate and process off-cycle payroll payments.
  • Assist with end-of-year payroll administration tasks.
  • Provide support for payroll activities related to acquisitions, mergers, and integration processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in high-volume data entry or administrative roles within finance or payroll environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in data evaluation.
  • Demonstrated interest in finance-related disciplines.
