Role Summary

This role involves technical Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with a focus on Mainframe development and support, emphasizing COBOL, JCL, and DB2 technologies. The position is open across multiple Indian locations including Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Indore, and Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support on Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Effectively manage and resolve incident requests, notably prioritizing P1 and P2 level issues.
• Engage in Mainframe support projects, preferably within the banking sector.
• Handle multiple concurrent activities such as service requests and incident tickets efficiently.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts according to project requirements.
• Communicate proficiently, both in written and verbal formats, with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in Mainframe support, with strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
• Good-to-have skills include CICS and MQ Series (MQS).
• Previous exposure to banking projects is preferred.
