About the Role

Join BMW Group’s cutting-edge team evaluating next generation battery cell technologies and components tailored for automotive applications. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in innovative full stack software development within a dynamic, cross-disciplinary environment utilizing agile methodologies and state-of-the-art tools.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team in an agile development setting using contemporary methodologies.
  • Support the conceptualization and design of frontend, backend, and SQL database solutions.
  • Contribute to the implementation and testing of software based on real-world cases.
  • Help develop GUI concepts and templates to facilitate software usage.
  • Perform testing on software performance to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Receive continual mentorship and feedback while managing tasks independently.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Pursuing a Master's degree in Information Technology, Web Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Robust experience as a Full Stack Developer, proficient in React JS, Node JS, TypeScript, TypeORM, and related frontend/backend technologies.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with development tools like Confluence, Jira, and BitBucket.
  • Knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger or Postman is beneficial.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerApps integration to web applications is a plus.
  • Business-level fluency in English is required.

Additional Information
