We are actively seeking a Founding Backend Engineer to join our Bangalore-based team at a pioneering AI-driven Data Engineering and Analytics company. This organization is backed by leading venture capitalists and founded by IIT alumni, focusing on building advanced data infrastructure for the US market.
Job Details
- Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India — 100% onsite
- Compensation: ₹65 LPA cash package
- Equity: Employee stock options available and negotiable directly with the founder
- Start Date: Immediate joiners only
- Candidate must currently reside in Bangalore
Responsibilities
As a key engineering contributor, you will engage in developing highly technical and scalable backend systems which power AI and data infrastructure solutions. This includes work on database management and API development to enable next-generation data platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 6 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend development preferred
- Excellent programming abilities coupled with robust problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated deep technical knowledge and capacity to work independently as a strong individual contributor
- Familiarity or demonstrated interest in building robust, scalable systems in an engineering-first environment
