Role Overview
As a Forward Deployed Engineer specializing in full stack development, you will be responsible for delivering complete end-to-end features within our existing codebases. Your work will predominantly involve technologies such as React, Node.js with TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement full stack features from start to finish using React, Node/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Python.
- Deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions utilized by our accounting teams, including both proprietary applications and integrations with third-party vendors.
- Create robust data and workflow integrations spanning multiple platforms, ensuring resilience and observability of data pipelines.
- Troubleshoot issues in production environments across the software stack, applying automation and monitoring to prevent recurring problems.
- Collaborate intensively with the main engineering team by contributing pull requests, composing design documentation, and maintaining operational runbooks.
- Utilize AI-based coding tools effectively to speed up feature implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation processes.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 3 to 8 years of demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining production web applications.
- Expertise with TypeScript and Node.js, React framework, Python scripting, and relational database SQL usage.
- Competence in designing APIs and managing external system integrations.
- Strong capability in thorough testing, debugging, and conducting detailed code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities coupled with an ownership-driven mindset.
- Ability and willingness to work onsite at Hyderabad, India, with some overlapping hours aligning with U.S. time zones.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering in any discipline is required.
