Role overview
This apprenticeship sits within ABB’s Electrification Services division and is aimed at developing the next generation of Field Service Engineers. Based onsite in Dublin, the position supports field service operations and contributes to broader business and strategic goals. Training is delivered locally in Ireland, and the role is supervised by the Service Team Leader.
You will join an experienced, high-performing field service team and receive broad initial training to build a strong grounding in electrical engineering, ABB’s business model, and its market approach.

- How to carry out commissioning and start-up activities.
- How to support maintenance work, diagnostics, and repair tasks.
- How to understand and work with single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
