About the Role

Duet STEM, an initiative by Duet Power Private Limited focused on innovative STEM and AI education solutions, seeks an Educational AI Robotics Product Developer. This full-time role is based in Noida and involves collaborating with AI & Robotics trainers to create hands-on robotics kits aimed at schools, colleges, and training centers. The position demands designing, prototyping, and testing robotics kits integrating electronics, sensors, microcontrollers, and AI functionalities to transform conceptual training modules into practical educational tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative educational robotics kits and prototypes.
  • Collaborate closely with AI & Robotics Trainers to translate training concepts into functional kits.
  • Choose and integrate sensors, motors, actuators, microcontrollers, and electronic components effectively.
  • Develop and maintain firmware and control software for robotics projects.
  • Work extensively with hardware platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
  • Implement robotics applications using programming languages like Python, C, and C++.
  • Incorporate basic AI, machine learning, and computer vision elements as needed.
  • Conduct prototype testing, troubleshoot hardware and software challenges, and enhance design quality.
  • Prepare detailed circuit schematics, bills of materials, technical documents, and assembly guides.
  • Develop projects tailored to varying student education levels and programs.
  • Research current robotics technologies, components, and educational uses.
  • Assist trainers during demonstrations, workshops, and pilot tests of new kits.

Qualifications and Skills

  • B.E., B.Tech, Diploma, or M.Tech in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related domains.
  • Strong practical experience and knowledge in robotics and electronics.
  • Proficiency with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or equivalent platforms.
  • Programming expertise in Python and/or C/C++.
  • Familiarity with sensors, motors, motor drivers, communication protocols, and embedded systems basics.
  • Understanding of robotics mechanisms and introductory mechanical design.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and troubleshoot prototypes effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for creating innovative educational technology products.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI/ML, computer vision technologies.
  • Knowledge of OpenCV, ROS/ROS2, TensorFlow, or PyTorch frameworks.
  • PCB design skills.
  • Familiarity with CAD software such as Fusion 360 or SolidWorks.
  • Experience in 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
  • Background in development of STEM or robotics educational kits.
  • Experience managing robotics projects in school or collegiate settings.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder and programmer who takes concepts from circuit design and coding phases all the way through prototyping to producing functional robotics kits. Candidates showcasing GitHub profiles, project portfolios, robotics prototypes, or prior kit development experience will have an advantage.
