Barista

Role Overview

Golden Goose is hiring a full-time Barista for its Singapore Paragon location in Singapore. The position focuses on preparing beverages and light food items, serving guests efficiently, and contributing to an energetic store environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Greet guests, share information about specials or new menu items, respond to questions, and handle orders and payments.
• Prepare light food items such as sandwiches and baked goods, along with coffee and tea, including grinding and blending beans and brewing drinks.
• Pack food and beverage items for customers.
• Recommend coffee, drinks, and brewing products, explain product differences, and guide customers on brewing approaches.
• Keep the bar, service, and work areas clean and organized; remove waste and sanitize tools, equipment, and utensils.
• Continue building knowledge of brewing techniques, beverage combinations, food preparation, and presentation to improve product quality.
• Refresh signage and displays to help attract customers.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish items in display cabinets, on tables, and behind the counter.
• Contribute as a team player in a lively, high-paced workplace.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience working as a Barista.
• Prior exposure to food and beverage preparation or customer service is an advantage.
• Willingness to receive training and keep learning about food and beverage preparation.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and bending for long periods.
• Able to work during busy periods, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Friendly and courteous manner.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Ready to work with a fast-moving, energetic team.
• Fluent in English.
