About the Role

Join our Singapore-based engineering team at Hudson River Trading as we expand our global footprint, especially across Asia-Pacific markets. You will play a vital part in establishing and enhancing our trading operations, collaborating closely with algorithms and operations teams. Your efforts will directly impact trading results by leading the launch of new markets as well as optimizing existing ones.

Candidate Profile

• Driven by a deep passion for coding, exploration, and problem-solving related to computing.
• Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Capable of both independent work and productive teamwork.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot and improve code effectively.
• Comfortable expressing software designs across abstraction levels, from high-level architecture to detailed algorithms.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ programming.
• Experience with UNIX environments and confident usage of command line interfaces.
• Fluent in English, capable in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
• Self-managing with a track record of working independently.
• Experience working on market data or order-entry systems is advantageous.
