Role Overview
This full-time role, based on-site in Brisbane, Queensland, requires a skilled Scaffolder responsible for constructing, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding frameworks following project specifications, safety regulations, and site protocols. Regular duties include handling materials through loading and unloading, assembling scaffold components securely, performing visual safety checks, and ensuring scaffolds are stable, safe, and suitable for intended use. Collaboration with site supervisors and tradespeople, maintaining orderly work zones, adherence to all relevant permits and company safety procedures are essential. The role demands reporting hazards promptly, utilizing fall arrest systems properly, and actively participating in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in the safe setup, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
- Valid certifications and competence in fall protection and working at heights with a strong focus on safety compliance.
- Knowledge and experience in confined space work, applying correct procedures and risk mitigation.
- At least seven years of scaffolding experience.
- Good physical endurance to undertake manual handling, lifting tasks, and exposure to outdoor working conditions.
- Understanding of construction site operations, including safe use of hand and power tools, and proper material management.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team while following directions accurately.
- Possession of current driver's licence and truck licence.

Salary: $77,000 to $88,000 annually
