Job description
Overview
CentiMark Corporation, a leading name in commercial roofing across the nation, is seeking Roofing Service Helpers in the Richmond, VA area. This hands-on role involves assisting with various roof repair and maintenance tasks under supervision, providing an opportunity to grow within a large and stable organization.
Primary Duties
- Conduct leak detection and carry out repair work on different commercial roofing systems as directed by a foreman.
- Manage loading and unloading of necessary materials and equipment for tasks on site.
- Perform physical activities such as climbing ladders up to 25 feet, removing old roofing materials, and general site cleanup.
- Assist with minor roof repairs and scheduled maintenance activities following instructions from a foreman.
Candidate Profile
- Previous roofing work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate ladders safely.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have dependable transportation for commuting.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage range of $18 to $22.
