Job Overview
We are looking to hire a seasoned Risk Manager to lead identification, evaluation, and control of risks impacting various projects and organizational areas. The role demands creating and upholding robust risk management systems, performing risk analyses, tracking important issues, and advising leadership to safeguard project success, financial health, and operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute an all-encompassing risk management framework applicable to projects and business activities.
- Spot potential risks concerning timelines, budgets, safety, quality, contracts, and operational workflows.
- Carry out both qualitative and quantitative risk evaluations, including analyzing likelihood and potential effects.
- Keep a comprehensive risk registry with mitigation strategies, accountable parties, and progress tracking.
- Collaborate with project managers and senior executives to apply risk reduction and contingency methods.
- Observe early warning signals and promptly escalate critical risk issues to higher management.
- Perform root cause analyses for any incidents, schedule setbacks, or financial deviations.
- Offer risk-related insights during project bidding, planning phases, and execution.
- Generate routine risk reports, graphical dashboards, and executive-level presentations.
- Organize risk assessment workshops, trainings, and awareness initiatives for teams.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, contract provisions, and industry regulations.
- Contribute to business continuity planning and readiness for crisis events.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Risk Management, Project Management, or closely related discipline.
- Relevant certifications like PMI-RMP or ISO 31000 are beneficial.
- Documented experience as a Risk Manager or senior role in risk, project control, or planning, preferably within construction or infrastructure sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of risk detection, assessment techniques, and mitigation tactics.
- Familiarity with risk management software and tools.
- Strong analytical thinking, numerical competence, and effective problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills including presentations and stakeholder engagement.
- Capability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple concurrent projects.
