About the Role and Company
JFD India invites applications for a Retail Sales Executive position in Chennai to support its brands Shanthi Tailors Pvt Ltd and Just For a Day. Shanthi Tailors is a well-known name specializing in classical dance costumes, jewellery, sarees, and related accessories, while Just For a Day offers rental and occasion-wear services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet customers and carefully assess their needs.
- Guide customers in choosing appropriate costumes, jewellery, sarees, and accessories.
- Clearly articulate product features, pricing, and options.
- Recommend products aligned with customer preferences and budgets.
- Handle walk-in clients with professionalism.
- Convert customer inquiries into confirmed sales.
- Conduct necessary follow-ups with customers.
- Establish strong customer relationships to promote repeat business.
- Assist in cross-selling and upselling among product lines.
- Coordinate with back-office and workshop teams for order fulfillment.
- Maintain showroom appearance and organize merchandise effectively.
- Stay informed on product details, pricing, and stock statuses.
- Work towards achieving personal and collective sales objectives.
- Deliver consistently professional and positive customer experiences.

Compensation & Work Details
The monthly salary ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹22,000, depending on experience, communication skills, sales ability, and overall competence. This is a full-time, office-based role located in Mylapore, Chennai. Immediate joiners or those able to start within 15 days are preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with the location, fixed working hours, the salary range, and the full-time in-office requirement.
