Manufacturing Engineer

Position Overview

This role is for a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in aerospace, based in Bengaluru East, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate will have a robust mechanical or aerospace engineering background and extensive hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering for aerospace programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Work Instructions, Work Plans, and Process Plans using DELMIA DM tool within the 3DExperience platform focusing on Aircraft Components and Assemblies build sequences.
• Conduct process planning, methods planning, and producibility evaluations related to aerospace structures.
• Interpret complex Engineering Drawings along with EBOM and MBOM, Task Lists, Build/Routing Sequences, and Process Flows.
• Standardize and create Detail Work Statements (DWS), compile business cases, and maintain process planning standards.
• Collaborate with customers to clarify requirements, address queries, and ensure high-quality manufacturing engineering outputs delivered on schedule.
• Coordinate with offshore teams, mentor junior engineers, and uphold aerospace manufacturing compliance standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering within aerospace programs.
• In-depth understanding of the Aircraft life cycle, fuselage, and systems.
• Proficiency with DELMIA DM tool on the 3DExperience platform, CATIA V5, and MS Office suite.
• Strong familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with metallic and composite aero structures/components manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of CAD tool CATIA V5 and PLM tool ENOVIA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate customer interactions and effective team collaboration.
