Job Overview
We are conducting a recruitment initiative in India during late 2026. Candidates who qualify through screening will receive invitations for in-person interviews; walk-ins are not permitted.
The Maintenance Scheduler plays a vital role in supporting the Asset Maintenance Team by orchestrating maintenance schedules to optimize resource utilization, thereby ensuring flawless execution and enhancing operational reliability of Onshore Facilities. All activities must comply with relevant policies, procedures, and established targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures while developing schedules that incorporate past lessons and improvement opportunities.
- Evaluate and update Maintenance Scheduling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), prioritize tasks based on scheduling needs and resources, and monitor daily task execution.
- Facilitate weekly Asset 14-Day Schedule (14DS) meetings, prepare performance reports, and publish the 12-week outlook schedule.
- Aggregate asset maintenance demands from executable backlogs (SAP statuses RSCH/SCHD/INPG), analyze resource utilization peaks, and communicate accordingly.
- Rebalance schedules considering the Latest Acceptance Completion Dates (LACD) against available resources.
- Integrate all Preventive and Corrective Maintenance SAP work orders for stakeholders including Asset Maintenance, Center of Expertise (COE), and Workshops & Shared Services to maximize resource deployment.
- Compile deferred Preventive Maintenance work orders and document non-compliance reasons.
- Perform quality audits to verify task planning and material availability prior to inclusion in the 14DS.
- Enhance campaigning activities related to maintenance scheduling.
- Ensure timely release of the integrated 14DS schedule to facilitate Permit To Work (PTW) processes.
- Handle material reservations and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure job readiness by providing advance notifications.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Higher National Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of hands-on maintenance experience in planning and scheduling within the oil, gas, or petrochemical industries.
- Minimum of 3 years specifically in planning and/or scheduling roles.
Skills and Competencies
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Proficient computer skills, with familiarity in industry-specific software such as SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).
