Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Java Spring Boot and Microservices developer with 5 to 10 years of professional experience to join our team as a Developer or Lead. This role demands expertise in designing and implementing scalable microservices architectures with strong capabilities in Java programming and system design.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Develop and design robust applications using Core Java and System Design principles.
- Hands-on coding with Java 8 and above, focusing on RESTful API and Microservices development.
- Implement object-oriented programming concepts and proficiently handle exceptions.
- Optimize data structures for performance and reliability.
- Manage multi-threading, concurrency, and comprehensive error handling.
- Incorporate circuit breaker patterns for resilient microservices.
- Demonstrate skills in machine coding and microservice communication, both synchronous and asynchronous.
- Utilize Spring Boot framework features including REST controllers, security, exception handling, Spring Data, JPA, JDBC, transaction management, dependency injection, auto-configuration, starters, annotations, and configuration management.
- Work with messaging systems like Kafka and JMS, along with CI/CD pipeline tools and version control using GIT.
- Lead and mentor a technical team of more than 8 members, providing technical leadership and guidance.
- Good to have experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB and unit testing using JUnit.
- Experience operating in Linux or Unix development environments.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborating in agile teams.
- Familiarity with API documentation and testing tools such as Swagger and Postman.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, performing root-cause analysis and designing applications and components for large-scale enterprise projects.
- Experience in feature development using Java Spring Boot frameworks.
- Knowledge or experience with AI tool integrations like Co-pilot or Claude is a plus.
