About the Role

Sailor Studio is seeking a mid-level Graphic Designer to join our creative agency located in Bella Vista, New South Wales. You'll collaborate on a wide spectrum of client projects spanning global health, pharmaceuticals, technology firms, local businesses, churches, and Christian not-for-profit organizations. Our tasks encompass standard graphic design, branding, presentations, as well as extended creative outputs like digital communications, event design, web projects, video, and animation.

Responsibilities

  • Take projects from initial ideas through to finished artwork with guidance from senior team members.
  • Handle multiple assignments and respect deadlines while keeping the team informed of your progress.
  • Design and update professional PowerPoint presentations adhering to master templates and brand standards.
  • Create creative assets for print and digital platforms.
  • Ensure production-ready files are technically accurate for both print and digital media.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, developers, animators, and other creative colleagues.
  • Engage with clients as you grow in confidence and responsibility.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a fun and productive studio atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably within an agency or studio setting.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, chiefly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Competency in Microsoft PowerPoint design and editing.
  • Strong abilities in layout, typography, and visual communication.
  • Excellent self-management skills, receptiveness to feedback, and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Confidence to work independently while seeking assistance when necessary.
