Role Overview
We are seeking a Graduate/Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our vibrant engineering team. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and collaborate with seasoned engineers on transformative projects affecting the built environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support senior engineers in preparing pre-construction packages.
- Contribute to design evaluations, value engineering tasks, and documentation related to projects.
- Coordinate with Senior Engineer and Procurement on assessments of plant and equipment packages.
- Develop mechanical coordination drawings and liaise with site and project managers effectively.
- Assist in preparing and managing quality assurance documentation, including RFIs, technical submissions, and QA packs.
- Provide assistance to quantity surveyors in analyzing variations and managing project cost controls.
- Help in compiling operation and maintenance manuals and oversee document submissions.
- Support commissioning activities, including overseeing subcontractor coordination, certifications, and documentation uploads.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and internal QDG processes.
- Conduct site visits and aid in Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering required.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or Design; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and their components is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and energy efficiency concepts is beneficial.
