About the Role
Aristocrat is actively seeking a driven Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team in New Zealand. Our core mission is to enhance life’s joy through engaging gaming experiences. This remote position based in Napier provides a unique opportunity to tackle varied technical challenges while receiving extensive on-the-job training to build your expertise and thrive professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct servicing, repairs, and installations of gaming equipment appliances.
- Efficiently manage spare parts inventory to meet service demands.
- Offer excellent client support by resolving issues swiftly and professionally.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks to maintain equipment reliability.
- Work closely with technical teams to identify and fix malfunctions.
- Keep meticulous logs and documentation for all service activities.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company procedures.
- Train and assist customers in equipment operation and upkeep.
- Participate in weekend on-call schedules to address urgent needs.
- Travel to client sites as required for service delivery.
- Communicate clearly with customers and coworkers to assess service requirements.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a valid full New Zealand driver’s license is mandatory.
- Demonstrated commitment to providing superior customer service.
- Technical expertise in appliance repair and installation preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with thorough attention to detail.
- Capability to operate autonomously and collaborate effectively in teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to participate in weekend on-call rotations.
- Knowledge of inventory control is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies.
Additional Information and Requirements
This position requires passing mandatory background and regulatory screenings, including criminal checks and potentially providing fingerprints or obtaining gaming licenses as necessary. Aristocrat complies with strict global gaming regulations and may request disclosure of personal background information to regulatory bodies relevant to the jurisdictions in which we operate. Visa sponsorship is not available, so applicants must be legally authorized to work full-time in New Zealand.
